Fischhaus in Wendisch Rietz

Today we were warmly welcomed and provided with delicious fish rolls for our hike. We can particularly recommend the fried fish roll! Saturdays are open between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. despite Corona (take away, of course).

The Fischhaus is a nice restaurant in a great location. The service was good and a small menu usually shows good cuisine. BUT: Why don't you offer regional and fresh (!) Fish? Pike, perch, tench, etc. swim right in the surrounding lakes. Instead, you process frozen monkfish, halibut, and salmon. The joke is, the fishing operation is less than 100m from your restaurant. I also like sea fish very much and I am aware that it can only be served frozen in Brandenburg, BUT all the fish dishes that the six of us ordered were overcooked and dry. Pity!

Really delicious fish restaurant! Very well done - the highest level of taste. If you want to eat well, you should also be prepared to invest a little more. We spent wonderful days in this wonderfully located hotel and will definitely come again. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Hotel ideally located in a beautiful location on a small peninsula to pass over a small bridge, you can reach this top class location. If you want to eat fish, you should stop here, the best fish variations freshly caught from the Baltic Sea on the guest's plate. One of the best restaurants with an affiliated hotel on the Scharmützelsee, whoever wants can take the hotel's own boat on a tour of the surrounding lakes. Then you can buy the freshly caught fish and take it with you!

I am absolutely thrilled with the hotel and the associated restaurant. The location is brilliant. The rooms are lovingly furnished, the whole area is lovingly laid out. There are loungers everywhere, there is water all around. So I could sit by the lake or on the river, in the sun or in the shade and enjoy the calming view of the water. I could have the delicious breakfast every morning in the sun on the terrace (but there are shady spots). In the evening there were delicious fish dishes (also non-fish dishes) on the same terrace. During the day, excursions into the great outdoors are possible or swimming in the crystal-clear spring water. I borrowed a kayak and paddled to the spring lake, then let myself be carried back by the stream of water and watched nature.

Very well located restaurant, but you could get more out of the interior. Very friendly service, unfortunately only consistently fish food - in the higher price range .. Unfortunately no vegetarian dishes - even more expensive than the normal dishes if you put them together yourself.

After a hike, we wanted to stop for coffee and cake and enjoy the beautiful view. We asked for the menu that the waitress wanted to bring us, but when we asked for the second time, we referred us to the fish menu. When asked if there is also coffee and cake (drinks were not listed anywhere), she listed a few coffee specialties. She didn't know what the cake was, we should go to the counter ourselves. This consisted of a cake plate with 2 (!) Types. We picked one. The coffee was brought, but without a coffee biscuit, as at the next table. It started to rain, an umbrella (which was folded up in the corner) was not opened for us. We implement ourselves independently. Conclusion: coffee and cake were good. According to our impression, a distinction is made between lunch guests and hikers (who just want to drink a coffee). It's a shame.

Based on positive reviews on the Internet, we have chosen the Fischhaus am Kleiner Glubigsee for a visit. The location is beautiful. The service is quick and nice. The selection of dishes is manageable. Unfortunately, the food didn't keep up. Some of the fish still had scales and was served on a mixture of braised triplet potatoes and halved mushrooms. This mixture was apparently also available with other dishes. The price for it seemed a bit excessive to us, in other fish restaurants we ate better and also cheaper. Overall, a disappointment for us.

Excellent food, friendly service, a wonderful view of the lake with the swan family and relaxed residents, all of whom drive boats with electric motors and an owner of the Fischhaus institution, who is very familiar with boats and works as a fisherman himself. If you are looking for peace and idyll, this is the place for you. Forest water sun all in one place. Building and grounds very well maintained. Fantastically located right on the lake.

Super nice staff. MANY THANKS FOR EVERYTHING! We had a nice, cozy room with a balcony and a view of the lake. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, which we could enjoy on the terrace directly on the lake. Rowing boats or canoes can also be rented on site. CONCLUSION: Definitely highly recommended and we will definitely come again!

We went to this place for dinner with friends. The location directly at a lovely lake is very romantic and really awesome. The food is extraordinarily good and the prices are really ok. But - for good reason - one should reserve quite in advance in order to finding a place in the evening. Definitely recommended for dish meals.
